Managing Director of Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company Limited, Ronald Adam, has highlighted Shell’s pioneering role in developing Nigeria’s oil and gas workforce, particularly in exploration and production capabilities. Speaking through Deepwater Asset Development and Subsurface Manager, Chike Aginah, Adam emphasized the company’s longstanding commitment to human capital development since establishing itself as a pioneer in Nigeria’s petroleum industry.
Adam acknowledged the contributions of Shell employees who are active in professional development and reaffirmed the company’s ongoing partnership with industry stakeholders. The company recently received recognition for its operational excellence and technical contributions to Nigeria’s energy sector. Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company Limited was recognized as a major sponsor and its Principal Exploration Geoscientist, Adesola Adesida, won third place for a technical presentation titled “Integrated geological framework of Nigeria’s deep-water and onshore settings: Implications for hydrocarbon prospectively.”
In addition to its exploration and production activities, Shell Companies in Nigeria mounted an exhibition showcasing the operations and contributions of Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company Limited, Shell Nigeria Gas, All On, and Daystar Power Limited to Nigeria’s development.
