Angolan oil company Etu Energias has inaugurated its new Cuca Service Station within the Cuca Factory perimeter in Luanda, marking another milestone in the company’s accelerated growth plan. Since its establishment 25 years ago, Etu Energias has positioned itself as Angola’s largest indigenous oil firm.
The Cuca station joins existing outlets in Caxito, Sequele, and Viana. The new facility features six fuel-filling points, an electric-vehicle charging and tyre-calibration area, domestic gas-refill services, a solar-powered energy system to support environmental sustainability, and an on-site shop.
Edson R. Santos, CEO of Etu Energias, stated that the inauguration symbolizes the company’s commitment to sustainable growth and to building infrastructure capable of meeting the needs of a growing country.
Etu Energias is strengthening its lubricants portfolio and plans to build a lubricants manufacturing plant in Angola to support national industrialization and reduce reliance on imports as part of its fuel distribution growth strategy. The milestone follows the company’s launch of a new fuel-lubricant line in partnership with petroleum producer Glide Technology in March 2024.
