Libya’s Minister of Oil and Gas in the Government of National Unity, Khalifa Abdul Sadiq, held discussions with British Ambassador to Libya Martin Reynolds regarding prospects for bilateral cooperation in the energy sector and the potential involvement of major British companies in Libya’s oil and gas industry.
The meeting addressed the possibility of major British companies contributing to supporting Libya’s oil and gas sector through investment, knowledge transfer, and the development of modern technologies in exploration and production.
Abdul Sadiq reviewed the ministry’s efforts to create an attractive working environment for investors and to open the door for strategic partnerships that would help develop the sector and enhance its production capacity. The minister emphasized Libya’s commitment to establishing conditions that encourage international investment and technological advancement in the country’s energy infrastructure.
