8 more COVID-19 infections were reported over the last 24 hours in the governorate of Tataouine, bringing the caseload to 12,547 since the outbreak of the pandemic.
The new positive cases were recorded in Tataouine-North (5 cases), Dehiba (2 cases) and Smar (1 case), according to local health directorate’s update figures released on Tuesday.
The same source specified that no death due to the pandemic has been reported for the 4th consecutive day in the region, where the death toll has hit 216 since the outbreak of the pandemic, adding that 3 patients are currently staying at the Tataouine local hospital. Source Tunis Afrique Press
