PetroNor E&P has reported improving production at its PNGF Sud field operations in Congo Brazzaville, with second-quarter average net working interest output reaching 5,007 barrels a day, up from 4,712 barrels a day in the prior quarter and 4,289 barrels a day a year earlier.

The company credited successful well workovers and improved infrastructure stability for the gains, which lifted production efficiency to 93 percent in the second quarter, compared with 86 percent in the first quarter and 90 percent in the same period last year.

A full account of the field’s performance, including final production allocations for May and June, will be included in PetroNor’s interim report for the second quarter, due August 28.
