Reported deaths in Africa have reached 28,863 and recoveries 954,197.
South Africa has the most reported cases – 618,286, with deaths numbering 13,628. Other most-affected countries include Egypt (98,062 cases), Morocco (57,085), Nigeria (53,317), Ethiopia (46,407), and Ghana (43,841).
