Secretary to the Government of the Federation and chairman of the Presidential Task Force, Boss Mustapha, has said that the number of Covid-19 cases detected in the country in the past two weeks indicates that a second wave of the outbreak has begun and Nigeria stands the risk of not just losing the gains from the hard work of the last nine months but also losing citizens. Health Minister Osagie Ehanire had earlier announced that the government would receive 20 million doses of the vaccine by January 2021. More than 76,000 cases of Covid-19 have been diagnosed in Nigeria so far, while 1,201 people have died from the virus. Over 67,000 patients have recovered.
