Libya’s National Oil Corporation Chairman Masoud Suleiman met with ConocoPhillips’ Dag Sanner and the head of Total’s Libya branch to review joint operations across oil sites and assess current work plans, with talks focusing on improving operational performance, strengthening safety programs, and enhancing technical readiness.

The sides also discussed future development opportunities and potential output increases aligned with the NOC’s strategic priorities. Suleiman said the corporation aims to deepen partnerships with international operators to stabilize the sector and advance projects to international standards.

Executives from ConocoPhillips and Total praised existing cooperation and reaffirmed their commitment to supporting operations and expanding joint initiatives in Libya. The meetings signal continued international interest in Libya’s petroleum sector despite ongoing political challenges in the country.
