The National Oil Corporation of Libya has held a meeting with Polish company PUNA to review its 2025 exploration activities and programs planned for 2026 in the Murzuq Basin. The discussions brought together the NOC’s Exploration Department Manager, the General Manager of the company’s Libya branch, the company’s Exploration Department Director, along with the NOC’s Reserves Development Manager and technical specialists from both sides.

During the meeting, PUNA confirmed its commitment to completing its remaining exploration obligations, including drilling six exploration wells over the next three years. The engagement reflects ongoing efforts to advance Libya’s upstream sector development through international partnerships and systematic exploration programs in key basins.
