Houston-based subsea services firm KOIL Energy Solutions has been awarded a significant contract by an international oil company to deliver installation, monitoring, and pre-commissioning services for an offshore development project in West Africa, the company announced on March 11, 2026.
The scope of work covers engineering, project management, onshore and offshore support personnel, and the provision of specialised rental equipment. Under the contract, KOIL Energy will install multiple subsea umbilical systems tied back to an existing deepwater field, with mobilisation of personnel and equipment to transport vessels and the offshore production facility scheduled for the second half of 2026.
Erik Wiik, Chief Executive Officer of KOIL Energy, said the contract reflects the company’s capability to deliver critical services to complex deepwater projects internationally. “It is also a testament to our teams’ expertise in testing of advanced deepwater systems and helping customers bring production online efficiently and safely,” Wiik said.
KOIL Energy Solutions, traded on the OTCQB market under the ticker KLNG, is internationally recognised for subsea systems and services covering the full life cycle of offshore oil and gas developments. Its field-proven testing equipment and methodologies are designed to accelerate clients’ path to production.
