I bring you compliments from the joint board of the organizing committee.
The International African Energy, Oil and Gas Summit (IAEOGS), is organized by African Energy World, African Energy Vault Ltd, African Peace Magazine UK, International Energy Summits ltd, Transcontinental University USA and African Energy Academy ltd.
The event is aimed at strengthening the capacities of APPO member Countries as well as those of its NOC and to bring together African stakeholders and global authorities, with the energy heavyweights from USA, Europe, Arab and Asia and all over the world, using IAEGOS as a platform to engage and invest in African opportunities.
IAEGOS also showcases the most innovative and future-oriented companies, projects and solutions through the event’s exhibit, while various investor-focused panel discussions, presentations, sessions and meetings provide stakeholders with the information they need to make informed investment decisions across the continent.
With a focus on upstream investment and downstream revitalization, the event serves as a platform for Africa’s energy sector, connecting industries and players and forging a future based on integration.
The 5th Edition of the International African Energy, Oil and Gas Summit (IAEOGS), which is to convene in Doha, State of Qatar, from 22nd to 30th October 2026 under the theme “Igniting Africa’s Energy Future.”
In determining the appropriate venue for the 2026 edition, Doha emerged as the most fitting environment for a convergence of this nature, given Qatar’s established credibility in global gas markets, its disciplined approach to energy stewardship and its growing engagement with emerging economies.
Since its inception, the IAEOGS has evolved steadily from a sectoral conference into a serious convening forum within Africa’s energy landscape. Previous editions, held in collaboration with the Governments of Angola and Namibia, have drawn participation from Ministers responsible for Petroleum and Energy, Chief Executives of National Oil Companies, senior regulatory authorities, sovereign investment representatives, infrastructure developers and multilateral institutions. The forthcoming 2026 edition is anticipated to attract a similarly senior and policy-oriented delegation.
IAEOG is designed to enable leaders in the oil and gas and energy sectors in Africa and the Gulf to develop a bilateral strategy for a win-win partnership, promoting sustainable investments in the economic transformation of the African energy sector. Register to attend today.
