As of May 13, 2022, confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached  11,611,426 while over  296,971,588 vaccinations have been administered across the continent.

Reported deaths in Africa reached  253,242 and  9,726,132 people have recovered. South Africa has the most reported cases of  3,871,085 and  100,630 people died. Other most-affected countries are Morocco (  1,165,552 ) , Tunisia (  1,041,197 ), Egypt (  515,645 ), Libya (  501,904 ),  Ethiopia ( 470,851 ), and Kenya (  323,952 ).
