At least six people have been confirmed dead in twin bomb blasts in Kampala City. The explosions happened at around 10am, first on Buganda Road outside the Central Police Station and a few minutes later, on Parliament Avenue near the IPS building and Raja Chambers.
Police said they have cordoned off a number of streets as they search for clues. Gillian Nantume says police is calling for vigilance because the bomb threats are still active.
