
SUBSEA7 LANDS MAJOR WEST AFRICAN CONTRACT WORTH UP TO $150 MILLION
Subsea 7 S.A. has secured a substantial subsea contract in West Africa valued between $50-150 million, the company announced Wednesday. The Norwegian subsea engineering giant will handle the transportation and installation of flexible pipelines, umbilicals, and critical subsea components to connect a floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel.
The contract also includes pre-laying activities for an upcoming drilling campaign, with project management and engineering work commencing immediately at Subsea7’s facilities in Sutton, UK and Suresnes, France. Offshore operations are scheduled to begin in 2026.
“Our close and agile collaboration with our clients allows us to make possible cost-effective and reliable offshore solutions for their needs,” said Jerome Perrin, Vice President Africa, Middle East, and Türkiye for Subsea7. “We are pleased to be able to support this client in executing such a strategically important project in West Africa.”
