Libya’s Ministry of Oil and Gas has entered into high-level negotiations with energy giant Shell to explore new partnership opportunities that could reshape the country’s energy sector. The talks signal Libya’s aggressive push to attract international investment and modernize its oil and gas operations.
Libya’s Minister of Oil and Gas Khalifa Rajab Abdulsadek met with a senior Shell delegation to discuss potential cooperation areas and investment opportunities. During the discussions, Minister Abdulsadek emphasized the critical importance of developing Libya’s oil and gas fields, increasing production output, and leveraging global expertise to transfer advanced technologies to the country.
The Ministry highlighted that these strategic efforts are essential for ensuring long-term economic stability and optimizing the utilization of national resources. Partnership opportunities will focus on exploration, production, and strategic collaboration initiatives.
