In a significant development for offshore operations in Central Africa, PETRODIVE has announced the immediate resumption of saturation diving operations in the region. The company has deployed a fully certified saturation diving system that meets all international safety standards as part of its aggressive expansion strategy.

The operation stems from a freshly inked partnership with oil and gas giant PERENCO and Dutch company DIXSTONE, aimed at supporting extensive long-term offshore activities throughout Central Africa.

“This launch reflects our unwavering commitment to operational flexibility,” declared Stéphane Troté, Founder and CEO of PETRODIVE. “We can now respond instantly to complex underwater challenges, deploy specialized teams for extended deep-water missions, and ensure uninterrupted service continuity.”

The company is combining French diving specialists with experienced Central African personnel who have been supporting PETRODIVE’s offshore work for more than two decades.

“Developing local expertise remains central to our African strategy,” Troté emphasized. “It’s the foundation of our sustainable approach across the continent.”

Based in Dubai, PETRODIVE provides specialized underwater contracting services across West Africa and the Caribbean, with operations in Cameroon, Congo, Gabon, Trinidad and Tobago, and Brazil. The company recently expanded its footprint by entering into a commercial collaboration agreement with Malaysia’s Seatech Engineering Maintenance to enhance diving operations in Sabah, Malaysia.

All operations strictly adhere to International Oil & Gas Producers and International Marine Contractors Association standards.
