The Nigerian Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) Limited is introducing new initiatives aimed at ensuring long-term price stability and sustainability in Nigeria’s Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) market.

In response to industry concerns, the company is strengthening stakeholder collaboration while implementing innovative measures to enhance operational efficiency and meet market demands.

As part of its strategic approach, NLNG is leveraging digital transformation to optimize its LPG supply chain. A newly designed digital platform will streamline regulatory processes, improve risk management, and enhance the overall experience for buyers. The platform will integrate IT-supported relationship management, automated issue resolution, centralized real-time payments, and improved case management systems—ensuring a seamless supply process despite market fluctuations and external challenges.

During a stakeholder engagement session in Lagos, Tolulope Longe, Manager, Commercial Contract Management at NLNG, emphasized the company’s dedication to supplying 100% of its LPG production to the Nigerian market. She highlighted NLNG’s strategic roadmap, which aligns with its vision of being a globally competitive energy company committed to sustainable development and improving lives.

Longe underscored the importance of these initiatives in promoting LPG as a cleaner alternative to kerosene and other fossil fuels. She reaffirmed NLNG’s focus on ensuring accessibility and availability of LPG by continuously enhancing supply processes in collaboration with offtakers.

Reiterating the company’s commitment to stakeholder engagement, Longe noted that NLNG is working towards improving market efficiency through enhanced customer interactions, reduced schedule disruptions, timely confirmations and deliveries, and prioritization of customers with demonstrable capacity.
