Nigerian motorists received welcome relief as the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited cut petrol prices across key cities. Prices dropped by N15-45 per liter in NNPC filling stations, with Lagos prices falling from N925 to N880 and Abuja prices reduced from N950 to N935. The price cuts vary by location, with stations at Lagos’ Apple Junction selling at N880, while Ago Palace and Idimu Road outlets charge N905 and N910 respectively. In Abuja, stations at Federal Housing Kubwa and Airport Road Lugbe uniformly implemented the N935 price point. The reductions represent the latest in a series of price adjustments affecting Nigeria’s volatile fuel market as domestic refining capacity increases.
