Ethiopian Airlines has increased the frequency of its flights to Luanda from three times a week to once a day. The move is expected to support intra-African connectivity.
Ethiopian Airlines has maintained a presence in Angola for over four decades, initiating its first flight in June 1986. Currently, the airline operates international passenger and cargo services to more than 130 destinations worldwide.
Angola’s aviation sector is experiencing rapid growth. In December 2023, the country’s national carrier, TAAG Angola Airlines, expanded its flight services to São Paulo, Brazil, offering six weekly flights. Additionally, the airline launched a new route to Lagos, Nigeria.
