Ethiopian Cargo & Logistics Services, the largest air cargo network operator in Africa, has been crowned once again with two Prestigious Awards at the Air Cargo News Awards 2023.
The Air Cargo News Awards ceremony was held at the Hilton Syon Park, London.
Ethiopian has brought home the accolades for the Cargo Airline of the Year 2023 for two years in a row, and Best Cargo Airline–Africa 2023 title home for five consecutive years.
The Awards, known as the Oscars of the airfreight industry, are voted for by cargo players from across the globe.
“We are pleased to be crowned with two titles at the Air Cargo News Awards 2023,” Ethiopian Airlines Group CEO Mesfin Tasew said today.
The CEO states that customer satisfaction is among Ethiopian airline’s top priorities.
“That is why we are continuously working to enhance our services by adopting customer-focused, operational-excellence, and market-driven approaches to provide the best cargo & logistics services globally,” Mesfin continued.
“These awards mean the hard work we are putting in is felt and appreciated by our valued customers, freight forwarders, ground handlers, general and cargo sales agents.”
The year 2023 has been colorful for Ethiopian’s in general and Ethiopian Cargo & Logistics Services in particular.
The carrier has been crowned with multiple prestigious awards including Cargo Airline of the Year-Africa’ at the 2023 Freight Week Sustainability Awards, ‘African Cargo Airline of the Year & Air Cargo Brand of the Year in Africa 2023’ from STAT Trade Times Cargo Excellence Awards.
Ethiopian Cargo and Logistics Services is one of the major strategic business units within the Ethiopian Airlines Group.
Its freight network currently covers more than 130 international destinations around the world with both belly-hold capacity and 67 dedicated Freighter services deploying more than 140 airplanes including 15 dedicated freighter aircraft.
