Egypt reported 870 new coronavirus cases on Monday, bringing the total infection tally officially to 351,267 since the outbreak began in February 2020, the health ministry said in its daily COVID-19 update statement.
The ministry also reported 58 new COVID-19 linked deaths in the past 24 hours nationwide, bringing the total number of deaths from the virus to 19,991.
The statement added that 675 patients have been discharged after recovering from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 292,655.
