The Mozambique office of the Dubai Chamber International has been instrumental in facilitating the entry of “Aguas da Namaacha,” a prominent Mozambican beverage brand, into the vibrant Dubai market.
This collaboration marks a significant stride in bolstering economic ties between Africa and the United Arab Emirates, positioning Dubai as a pivotal global hub for beverages.
Aguas da Namaacha is poised to make a significant impact in Dubai by introducing the first African mineral water to the city. This innovative product offers novelty, exclusivity, a gateway to cultural exchange, a touch of adventure, and health benefits, catering to the discerning consumers in Dubai.

Their initial strategy involves water distribution through their partner, Sunmeet Group, utilizing e-commerce channels and direct sales to both offices and residences. Product testing events are on the agenda, with plans to integrate the brand into various supermarket chains.
The company is eyeing expansion into the HORECA (Hotel/Restaurant/Café) segment, considering its substantial growth in this sector. Over the next three years, they aim to capture 1% of the market, equating to 315 million liters per month (equivalent to 190 20″ containers) and are considering establishing a representative office in Dubai. Additionally, their vision encompasses expansion within the GCC, with Dubai serving as the epicenter of their operations.
