Norwegian offshore supply vessel operator DOF Group has landed a substantial subsea umbilical, riser, and flowline (SURF) contract for an undisclosed energy company offshore Africa.
As part of this high-value project, DOF will manage project execution, engineering, logistics, and the installation of flexible flowlines, risers, cables, and associated subsea structures. The company is also tasked with installing a floating production unit for the client.
Offshore operations are scheduled for the second half of 2025, requiring the deployment of six DOF vessels for a combined total of over 450 vessel days.
DOF categorizes a ‘very large’ contract as one valued between $100 million and $200 million.
“This contract underscores the trust that energy companies place in DOF to efficiently handle complex marine operations for major production infrastructure installations. We are excited about this opportunity and eager to deliver on this project,” said Mons Aase, CEO of DOF Group.
