Sahara Energy has unveiled plans to add 68,000 metric tons of LPG storage capacity across multiple African countries. The expansion includes 30,000 metric tons in Kenya, 15,000 in Nigeria, 12,000 in Ivory Coast, 6,000 in Ghana, and 5,300 in Tanzania.
Jérôme Espinasse, Head of Trading at Sahara Energy, announced on April 7 in Cape Town that the company is “committed to future proofing Africa’s energy through gas and infrastructure projects to ensure cheaper and cleaner energy is delivered to Africans.”
The company also plans to scale its LNG operations by acquiring LNG vessels and investing in liquefaction trains throughout the continent.
