The Mozambique-Zimbabwe fuel corridor is getting a major upgrade! Companhia do Pipeline Moçambique-Zimbabwe (CPMZ) has announced plans to expand its Beira corridor pipeline capacity from 3 million to 5 million cubic meters annually by 2027.
Victor Macuácua, CPMZ’s Public Relations Officer, said the move will improve fuel delivery from Mozambique’s Port of Beira to Harare, Zimbabwe, and beyond — including strategic markets in the DR Congo, Zambia, Malawi, and Botswana.
This marks a significant milestone in over 40 years of safe and efficient regional fuel transport and signals a new era of energy reliability across Southern Africa.
