US President Joe Biden is due to address the UN climate summit in Egypt.
He’ll tell the meeting in Sharm el-Sheikh that the US is taking significant action to help keep the rise in global temperatures below 1.5 Celsius.
Mr Biden’s arrival coincides with the publication of research which says the world could pass the threshold within a decade.
