The Senator representing Nasarawa south senatorial district, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura (APC), has urged voters in Nasarawa state to vote the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) back to power.
He stated this while playing host to political group known as APC Gayam ward monitoring team, from his Gayam electoral ward, in Lafia.
Al-Makura, urged them to remain united and committed to APC and ensure that they vote the party back to power in 2023.
He urged them on the need to also sensitise electorates that there is no more rigging, as such, the electorates must come out vote enmass for APC candidates in order to bring more development to the people of the state and the nation at large,
Earlier, deputy chairman of APC in Gayam ward, Musa Kaigama, said they are out to sensitise electorates in their wards on the need to collect their voters card from INEC, to enable them exercise their franchise.
Kaigama, who described Gayam ward as the engine room of Nasarawa state’s politics, said the group has also taken it upon itself to sensitise electorates in the ward on the need for rancour free elections.
He thanked the APC state secretary Aliyu Bello and Turaki Gamji, for financing the activities of the group towards actualising its aims and objectives.
