As of June 7, 2022, confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached  11,749,735 while  301,415,135 vaccinations have been administered across the continent.

Reported deaths in Africa reached  254,141 and  9,892,773 people have recovered. South Africa has the most reported cases of  3,968,931  and  101,350  people died. Other most-affected countries are Morocco (  1,170,427 ) , Tunisia (  1,042,872 ), Egypt (  515,645 ), Libya (  502,016 ),  Ethiopia (  475,321  ), and Kenya (  325,634 ).

The numbers are compiled by the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University (world map) using statistics from the World Health Organization and other international institutions as well as national and regional public health departments.
