The Office of the President has today announced the appointment of Mr Suleiman Athanasius as Registrar General, effective 1st August 2026.
Mr Athanasius was appointed Deputy Registrar General 9th March 2026. He holds a Diploma in Governance, Risk and Compliance from the International Compliance Association, and has undertaken specialised training in anti-money laundering and asset management coordination.
Mr Athanasius has been employed with the Registrar General office for 10 years during which time he has played an important role in strengthening Seychelles’ registration systems, supporting legislative reforms, and enhancing delivery of public services.
