A new museum has opened in Ethiopia’s capital, Addis Ababa, which Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed says will build on the country’s reputation for artificial intelligence and digital innovation.
The Museum of Science and Art has nearly 1,400 sq metres of permanent and temporary exhibition spaces, and 80% of the land is said to be a green space covered with more than 4,000 indigenous plants, trees and flowers.
Tuesday’s opening coincided with the Pan-African Artificial Intelligence conference, which has also kicked off in Addis Ababa.
