Four Reverend Catholic sisters were reportedly abducted Sunday morning while going for a thanksgiving mass of their sister, along Enugu-Okigwe, in Imo State.
Blueprint gathered that on sighting the sisters believed to be coming from neighbouring Portharcourt in Rivers State, the abductors stopped them and ordered that they should come down from their vehicle and marched them to an adjoining bush.
Recall that the axis is noted as an area where abductors operate freely.
There have been series of abductions involving Abia State University students, businessesmen and priests over there.
As at the time of filing this report, no reaction had come from the Imo State Police Command’s Spokesman, CSP Mike Abattam.
