A group, Unified Northern Nigeria Youth Forum, has said Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Godwin Emefiele, is the only person that can win the presidency for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that although Emefiele is not a known member of any political party and has never declared his intention to run for office of president of Nigeria, some support groups across the country have been marketing him.
Mohammed Salisu Danlami, Convener of Unified Northern Nigeria Youth Forum, stated recently at a press conference in Lokoja, Kogi State, that Emefiele has been exceptional, and thus, deserves to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari.
“In search for the next president, we must consider somebody who is detribalised and somebody who is not a normal politician.
“Among all appointees of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, no one has performed like the CBN governor.
“Emefiele is the only person qualified to occupy the position. He is highly competent and stands tall among other candidates,” Danlami said
